1) Children and Youth Program: “Roots and Resilience”

  • Objective: Empower children and youth with cultural pride, resilience, and coping skills.
  • Components:
    • Traditional Practices:
      • Storytelling circles with elders
      • Art and craft workshops (beadwork, dreamcatcher making)
      • Outdoor activities (berry picking, nature walks)
    • Clinical Modalities:
      • Group therapy sessions (expressive arts, play therapy)
      • Psychoeducation on coping strategies
      • Trauma-informed counselling

Men’s Program: “Warriors’ Path”

  • Objective: Support Indigenous men in reclaiming their strength and identity.
  • Components:
    • Traditional Practices:
      • Sweat lodge ceremonies
      • Men’s talking circles
      • Traditional hunting and fishing skills
    • Clinical Modalities:
      • Individual counselling (addressing trauma and substance abuse)
      • Anger management workshops
      • Skill-building for employment and self-sufficiency

Women’s Program: “Sacred Sisters”

  • Objective: Foster sisterhood, healing, and empowerment among Indigenous women.
  • Components:
    • Traditional Practices:
      • Moon ceremonies
      • Beading and sewing circles
      • Herbal medicine workshops
    • Clinical Modalities:
      • Trauma-focused therapy
      • Self-care and stress management
      • Financial literacy workshops

2SLGBTQI+ Program: “Rainbow Resilience”

  • Objective: Create a safe space for 2SLGBTQI+ individuals to explore their identities and heal.
  • Components:
    • Traditional Practices:
      • Two-Spirit teachings
      • Pride celebrations
      • Gender-affirming ceremonies
    • Clinical Modalities:
      • LGBTQ+ affirming therapy
      • Support groups
      • Substance use harm reduction
