Traditional Medicine & Food Gardening Program

With climate change and historic colonization policies, the environment in the north is changing and with that comes insecurity in traditional food and traditional-medicine supply. AIWF is working towards an onsite greenhouse and garden in addition to training programs for on-the-land collection of plants for food and medicine to increase sustainable and cost-effective ways to manage this large determinant of health.
